Este es el texto que nos introduce en Nueve Semanas y Media, iniciativa avilesina para exponer fotografía en los soportes de las paradas de autobús.
En esta ocasión la temática de la muestra es el viaje, el acercamiento a otras gentes y culturas y la podremos disfrutar a lo largo de nueve semanas más.
"...This time the exhibition consists of a summary of the twenty years of Imágenes de un Viaje, meetings of audiovisual showings that the Ateneo Obrero of Gijón has been organizing for the last four lustra. Singapore, Istanbul, Prague or some corners of our Asturias have been captured by different cameras to show us the different perceptions and sensibilities of the traveller-photographer..."
This is the introductory text for Nueve Semanas y Media ("9½ Weeks"), an initiative born in Avilés to show photography using as support the shelters at the bus stops.
This time the subject of the show is travelling, approaching other people and cultures. We can enjoy it for nine more weeks.
