Así definieron Saura y Wenders el placer de ver cine...Fue durante los encuentros sobre cine europeo organizados por el Centro Niemeyer de Avilés en los cines Marta y María. Ambos cineastas compartieron su manera de entender el cine, su voluntad de hacer y contar historias en la que los contenidos son desencadenantes indiscutibles del proceso
Se habló de lo relacionado con la producción: la libertad creativa, la piratería, la tecnología 3D. Curiosamente no se comento casi nada de la filmografía de cada uno de ellos aunque sí se debatió sobre la existencia y el peso que tiene el cine europeo
Y como siempre en este tipo de encuentros lo más agradable los gestos, las ironías, las complicidades de los dos directores.

That is how Saura and Wenders defined the pleasure of seeing films... It was during the meeting about European cinema organized by the Niemeyer Centre of Avilés at the cinemas Marta y María. Both filmmakers shared their way of understanding cinema, their will to make and tell stories in which the contents are indisputably what triggers the process.
They talked about subjects related to production: creative freedom, piracy, 3D technology. Curiously little was mentioned about the filmography of any of them, although there was some debate about the existence and the weight of European cinema.
And as usual in this kind of meetings the most pleasant things were the gestures, the ironies, the complicities of both directors.
